Welcoming Our Newest Student Volunteer from Charleston School of the Arts

This year, Wise Owl House was honored to be included as an option for high school students in Charleston County looking to fulfill required volunteer hours (click here if you’re interested in volunteering, as well!).

At the beginning of this year, Charleston School of the Arts junior, Sanaa Salter, reached out about becoming a Book Bird and in her first two weeks, visited NINE free libraries, filling each with children’s and young adult literature provided by our amazing donors. These books included several donations from the Charleston Library Society.

Huge thanks go to Sanaa and her mom, Erica, for helping us get these books out there and into the hands of everyone who needs them!
